New Build Inspection

We provide a thorough professional post inspection from date of legal completion until your two year warranty expires , with an extensive report detailing any snags or defects.

What is a Snag?

A snag is a minor issue or cosmetic imperfection that does not affect the functionality or safety of the home for example paint inconsistencies, small scratches on surface or minor scuffs on woodwork. Snags are typically east to fix and are often resolved very quickly.

What is a Defect?

Defects are more significant problems that can affect the functionality of the home. Defects might include issues with plumbing, electrical systems, or other faults. Defects usually require more extensive repairs and can sometimes take longer to resolve, due to the complexity of the issues.

On the day of inspection we will meet with you at your new home at the time specified, we can discuss any concerns you may have and give you a chance to ask any questions before we start the inspection.

Inspection Report

Our report will list all areas that we have inspected, next to each snag or defect identified, there will be a photograph and description to help locate around the home. Once the inspection is completed, report will be emailed to you in PDF form within 48 hours, this then allows you to forward on to your builder with ease.

Follow up inspection

Our follow up re-inspection provides home owner with the peace of mind that your builder has rectified the snags and defects identified during initial inspection to a satisfactory standard.
